I found this well used stick horse at a thrift shop. I took it home, cut off its mangled mane, cut off the dirty bridle, primed and repainted the face, replaced the reins with a fun ribbon, and gave it an all new mane. The result is seriously cute, and I think someone out there would have a lot of fun playing with this little horse and her flowing mane ;)

The yarn is an acrylic blend (Lion Homespun), and can be hand washed. I tied all of the ends to keep it from fraying--and it is lush and perfect for braiding or other hairdos. The original reins were tied in a loop of rope, but it didn't strike me as being all that safe. I did not loop the ribbon, but tied little hand holds at the two separate ends. I painted the face with acrylic paint, and sealed it with mod podge.

A perfect ride for a little princess.

head is 12" by 8" and the stick is 33.5" long.

Due to it's size and unusual proportions I have to estimate shipping at $15, but please note that I will refund any overpayment on shipping more than $1
