Authentic 70+ Year Old Audubon Color Print


DATE: c.1940s

DESCRIPTION: This 60+ year old John J. Audubon ornithology lithograph was taken from Audubon’s Birds of America loose folio series, originally executed in the early 1800s. On the reverse side is a descriptive commentary by Roger Tory Peterson.

PUBLISHER: The Macmillan Company

PAPER SIZE: 9" x 12"

CONDITION: Very Good condition with the image area quite clean and crisp. Only a very slight, small indent under title area. It has beautiful coloring, very indicative of the mid-1900s. Paper has aged to a warm cream color.


This is an authentic vintage Audubon lithograph, from the mid-1900s. We do not sell modern reproductions.
