This was inspired by a visit to the west coast of Scotland in Argyll. It depicts the colours and moods of autumn in the highlands, in particular the heather and treescapes, with the addition of a few birds wheeling high in the air to add to the loneliness and wild mood of the vista. It is painted on a sheet of strong thick watercolour paper, ready for your own choice of frame. This is guaranteed the only copy. No prints have been taken from this original artwork, so you will have a unique piece of art if you choose to buy my painting.
The fact that it is unframed adds to its own affordability and the affordability and convenience of shipment.
I can send this to you fairly simply, in a rigid envelope, and you can match your choice of frame to the place in which you intend to display the picture.
The picture is signed on the front and signed, dated and titled on the back.

N.B. This painting was slightly damaged by water ingress and charred slightly after being in a room which caught fire. It was inside a plastic portfolio, which was not airtight and allowed some damage to the picture. If you look at the last photo you can see slight mottling and charring on the bottom right corner, but if you don't mind that or are happy to trim the work to exclude the damaged areas, you will be getting a unique original work at a bargain price.

Please convo.if you would like the picture signed anywhere else or are interested in other works in similar condition, as I have a number of pieces on artist's boards, paper etc., some of which are pencil sketches, paintings, oil pastel works, etc.

All artworks in this condition would need to be accepted as seen, as there is nothing much I can do to improve their condition.
