My Jewels of Hope began in 2005 when 7 year old Greer Gates begin making and selling jewelry to support a family friend, Nancy, who had ovarian cancer. By 2015 Greer sold over $120,000.00 of her creations made with help from family and friends. Greer's best friend Madison Carpenter acted as a key volunteer from 2010 on, and in 2015 took over the non profit when Greer "retired" to attend college and pursue a business degree and MBA. My Jewels of Hope is a Non-profit 501(c)3. The proceeds from our sales support cancer research and prevention at the University of Washington Medical Center under the direction and research of the amazing Dr. Elizabeth Swisher.

This necklace measures approx. 1 1/2" across. These are made with Vintage buttons(and new) and often have some imperfections, but we think it lends to it's original and vintage appeal.

Dancing Nancy’s are one of 2 personal tributes to my friend Nancy that my Mom and I developed after Nancy passed away. They are to remind you of a simple thing that makes you smile, reminds you that there is enough love to go around, and to live each day to the fullest. And if you get the choice to sit it out or dance, Nancy hopes you’ll dance. (All things that Nancy said believed and embodied). They are made with new and vintage buttons and come on a silver colored ball chain (nickel plated) or gold tone (brass) that is 19” long or a ribbon and wax cord necklace as seen in photo. We can substitute a 24" chain at no charge, just ask in the notes on your order.

International shipping costs do not include special customs fees or other similar charges. If they apply, I will contact you with additional charges.
