Constance wonders why she was given such a name. She never keeps the same mood for more than an hour, and is ever in search of new and interesting diversions. But she is a loyal friend and a good listener, and she is practical about her diversions once she finds them.

Constance is a cloth and clay art doll inspired by the Queen Anne dolls of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. She wears a painted bodice and shoes and a white linen petticoat. Her green glass bead earrings and silk ribbon choker are some of her favorites. The cotton cap on her dark curls sports a red rose and her red and cream cotton gown is trimmed with cotton crocheted lace and green silk ribbons.

At 19" tall, she is jointed at shoulder, hip, elbow and knee, and is signed as an original with
"JDConwell 2012, S.A. TX."
