Here we have the revised edition of the classic cookbook from 1961. Printed in a twp part volume in 1970, Mastering the Art of French cooking continues to be an enduring culinary treasure today.

This book is in great condition even though it does not have its original dust jacket. It shows some very light signs of usage. But the cover and binding are in near perfect condition.

The pages are ever so slightly yellowed with age and the blue coloring on the tops of the pages are very lightly faded.

It is not marked anywhere that I can see. So other than sitting on a shelf for some years it appears to be almost like new.

It came from a NON-SMOKING house. There is no odor on this book.
