Named for the famous comet that is only visible from earth every 75 years (the tomato matures in 75 days), this purple cherry is the richly flavored love child of beloved favorite 'Purple Cherokee.' Not to be missed if you are a black/purple tomato fan!

As a nerdish child of the 80s with a love for astronomy I have to admit that I originally fell in love with this variety because of its name. My first telescope came with a special Halley's Comet insert and poster! However, I have grown the tomato again and again for its wonderful taste. Gorgeous if you like to make colorful, summer salads.

Special Notes:

Indeterminate. Colorful fruit. Open-pollinated.

No less than 10 seeds per packet. {Please note that the number of seeds per package varies with each variety and is dependant on stock. Some varieties produce less seed than others.)

Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed.

About My Seeds:

All seeds were grown by me using organic methods only -- no chemicals or pesticides whatsoever. I have also taken care to check germination rates before packaging.
