Fortuna - ooak art doll in her one of a kind booth. Fortune telling machine in miniature.
Perfect addition to your Cabinet of Curiosities.

Did I tell you that I love automata? Little mechanisms moving beautiful clocks, dolls and such... gorgeously unique and handmade... they call it steam-punk now.. ok, so I like it.... but in original (:

Fortuna is an antique-like fortune telling machine... but in miniature. Machine is long time broken, but the doll......... having foretold so many futures... absorbing a spark of life from each prediction... Fortuna grew more conscious of herself...and one misty night she spoken again....

Fortuna is a mystic gyps woman.. with lustrous black hair and kohl lined eyes, which are like a pools of liquid mercury. She wears black and gold, and there are delicate, sparkling stars on her hair piece. Her black costume have the eye of the future embroidered on the front. Her golden tights are held in place with help of two black ribbons. Fortuna have hooves.

Doll itself is really tiny! 3.3" (8cm), you close her in your palm. She's made of finest, Japanese paper clay supported with metal wiring. Clay is really strong and feels like a wood in touch. She was half sculpted, half carved. Than sanded, painted and varnished. She can move her arms and legs, which hold position (her joints are lined with tiny pieces of black leather). She can sit and pose for you.

When you see it in that black frame, hanging on the wall... you just think - perfect.
I love it's shape, it's lustrous blackness and mystic aura...
On second photo light reflects from the gold ceiling and the doll seems to be alive... in trans...

This detailed display/booth is a collaboration between me and my boy Viktor Krystian.
After I made an initial sketch, we begun planning. Construction and first painting took full 2 days, and that was all on hands of the Constructor Viktor, who's really great with building models. Then it was my turn (next 2 days). I've added all the intricate ornaments and details. I also found a perfect crystal ball..... when all was ready, I lacquered the piece......

Booth is set into the black vintage frame that can be hung on the wall.
-booth 5.5x3.2" (14x8.5cm)
-frame 6.8x4.5" ( 17x11.5cm)

It's signed on the back.
Can be purchased via installments - convo me for details.
It will be securely wrapped and comes via registered post.
All set comes with some extra surprises as always!
