Izaak Walton wrote the "Complete Angler" in 1653. In his book and journals he lists the fishing flies he used to catch all manner of fish. One of his lures was the popper which he fly fished for Bream also known as Bluegill. My popper is based on his design. It is made on a number 6 Mustad hook and designed to be cast with 6 weight fly rod and line. It is made using the finest balsa wood, known for its low density and strength. Hand sanded, painted and tied, this lure has been used by this fisherman for the past 20 years with phenomenal success. It will not disappoint you. When you purchase, a complete set of instructions on how to use this popper will be included with your order. This popper takes luck out of the equation and replaces it with centuries old wisdom and experience.

Happy Fishing!!!
