Dating from the 50s to early 60s by my estimate, this short coat or jacket has a cute flaring cut. It is made of loopy bouclé wool in a subtle plaid of beige and cream. The buttons are creamy tan plastic, and the buttonholes are tailored. The coat has slightly cropped raglan sleeves with the fabric cut on the bias. The lining of the coat is peachy-tan taffeta. There are angled pockets. The coat is not labeled, but I believe it was commercially made.

Condition: Just dry cleaned and in very good condition. There is some wear to the buttonholes, seen on the inside only. There is staining on one sleeve cuff that partly, not completely, came out in cleaning—shown in the last photo.

Size: The cut is almost certainly intended to be roomy, and I think the ideal size might be large, possibly up to XL. Please consider how much you'd want to be able to wear under the coat.

Circumference at hem-54"
Back of neck to hem-31.5"

Please note: I measure the dimension of the item itself, and you will need to consider what size you would want the item to be to fit well on you.
