Aguayo fabrics are used in South America in the Andean culture (in countries such as Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Argentina) for women to carry children and take products to the market. The fabrics feature coloful stripes often with symbols representing native values.

This is a vintage aguayo tribal fabric blanket in excellent condition. It is a thin wool fabric and soft. Reversible with patterns and stripes on both sides in orange, brown and tan colors.
