A little mid century aluminum tea pot with a lovely, warm patina & a small origami crane on the knob on its lid. A portly little kettle with a golden glow to it, this little self straining pot will warm your water for tea or hold your grease in the kitchen. Fill it with flowers for a sweet centerpiece or set it on your desk to hold scissors & pencils & the like. However you use it, it's bound to make you smile.

Stands 6" high from bottom to top of knob.

In very good vintage condition. There is some wear, but no major dents, no cracks, no harm to the plastic bits. The inside is clean, yet chalky from years of boiling water. The origami crane was supposedly the logo for Japan Co. There are some Japanese characters on the bit the handle is attached to, as seen in the third photo above.
