Wonderful pair of hand-cut earrings. Each one has a unique pattern that has been formed into a dome and soldered to the back plate for a "puffy" or three dimensional effect. Now on sale, these were $85.

These have screw backs that work well or could be easily converted to french wires because they have a jump ring at the top.

The diameter of of the central piece is 1 1/4 inches. The bail, jump ring and top ball add another 1/2 of an inch.

Marked 925 on the back, along with a maker's mark and D.F. which, I believe, means that these were made in Mexico City (District Federal).

Circa 1940. Minor surface wear and patina. These have a wonderful modern tribal look.

Sale ~ Vintage Sterling Silver Earrings, Mexico D.F.
