This listing is for ONE RED vintage "Eight O'Clock Coffee" tin clock.

These little mid century conversation piece tin banks have been recycled into charming clocks, great for the kitchen, office, or bookshelf!

It was used back in the 1950s as Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) promotional item for grocery stores across the country. According to legend, the company came up with the name for its new roast by conducting a survey asking people what time of day they drank coffee most. Most folks reported they typically consumed it at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.... and so "Eight O'Clock Coffee" was born!

4" tall, 2" wide

•Coin slot on top of removable lid

•Runs on one AA battery (included).

•Antique and vintage pieces will have normal wear and characteristics appropriate to their age. We love treasure hunting!
