These two sweet plates are vintage MARY JANE pattern, 1776 Independence Ironstone dinner plates by Interpace NKT Japan. This line was probably produced between 1968 and 1974, Bicentennial Era by Interpace Nihon Koshitsu Toki (NKT) of Japan, now called the Nikko Company. This is part of the "Independence Ironstone" line, with a drawing of Independence Hall in Philadelphia and the year 1776 on the back of each plate.

Each plate has a lovely pink floral border design with more of the same inside a ridged white border. How charming these will look alongside other shabby chic or cozy cottage type decor! They're sure to add a soft touch to any romantic dinner table, just light the candles and watch the mood turn instantly to love and romance.

These measure 10 3/4" across and have no cracks or chips but do have some crazing, see photos #2, #4. Despite this, we're positive you'll be charmed with your purchase...we love them ourselves and wish we had a whole set to offer. We'll carefully wrap and ship them, knowing you'll be so pleased you made these sweet plates your newest vintage treasure.

Thanks for stopping in, we appreciate your time in browsing our shop.
