These rosy apple faces go together like oil and vinegar...they don't have a choice, now, do they?

An adorable vintage ceramic piece, this combined oil and vinegar cruet set is a one piece deal. Shiny and smiling, it's in very good vintage condition with its original leafy cork stoppers. A sturdy branch handle bridges these sweeties. I haven't noticed chips, but there is some crazing noticeable on the nondecorated areas, like the undersides of the stoppers. The corks are a tad yucky, and I didn't want to mess with them too much for fear of messing them up - they're old!

I'm not sure what company produced this wonderful anthropomorphic piece, it wasn't PY. Other sellers have credited similarly faced apples to Napco. There was a "Japan" sticker on the bottom, the only evidence left of this is the N. They are definitely Japanese.

These cruets measure a little over 4" tall. They're perfect for any 40s or 50s kitchen!
