DOLL IS NOT FOR SALE.
Just in time for spring! This pale yellow turn-of-the-century gown is taken from an actual pattern from the spring of 1891 that I sized to fit a 5 1/2 inch full-bodied porcelain doll, and the pale yellow hat would definitely fit in to any Easter parade. The yellow batiste gown has white pleated lace at the bottom of the six-gored skirt and at the throat and neck. White braid finishes off the sleeves. Yellow silk ribbon decorates the skirt and is also used for the bow at the neck. The hat (hat stand included) is of the same pale yellow batiste and is decorated with white bridal tulle, white beaded trim, and handmade peach silk ribbon roses. It also comes with a little purse made out of the yellow batiste that I forgot to put in the picture. This mannequin is perfect for the dollhouse, roombox, shadow box, or curio cabinet. If your dollhouse is modern, your dollhouse lady can be planning to attend a masquerade ball. Some people even use vintage clothing as a decorating item. The perfect color for shabby chic! As usual, everything is hand-stitched.
