I love daisies. I wanted to make a painting that showcased the personality of these flowers so I started with a freehand line drawing in ink then I put in the bold yellows and greens with my lovely watercolor paints. The funny thing about drawing in ink is that you can't erase the mistakes, which I think I secretly love. The "mistakes" are what makes this painting so interesting and I love how the ink bleeds when I add the paint. It grows and shrinks and is something I can't 100% control, and I respect that.
Come dance amongst the daisies white. Their leaves are full, their faces bright...
