These bowls were thrown on the potter's wheel and then altered into a triangle, square, and pentagon. They were then dried, bisqued to cone 08, glazed with ochre celadon, and fired in a wood burning kiln to temperatures upwards of 2350 degrees. Each bowl has a unique appearance because of the placement in the kiln. The triangular bowl was towards the back of the kiln, the square one in the middle, and the pentagonal bowl was towards the front. Each bowl also has some beautiful crystal growth, but especially the smallest bowl. You can see bluish streaks coming from the center of the bowl, but it has been blocked out by the growth of brown crystals. The outsides also have that beautiful brown crystal growth. These bowls would make a great table decoration, or can be put to use. When stacked, they look pretty cool, too.

These bowls are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe, and are non toxic.

The triangular bowls measures about 10" wide, stands at about 2 3/4" tall, and has a 5 1/4" wide foot ring. The square bowl measures about 9" wide, stands at 3 1/4" tall, and has a 4 1/2" foot ring. The pentagon bowl measures about 6 3/4" wide, stands at 3 1/2" tall, and has a 3 1/2" foot ring.
