This cute mug will complete your beverage drinking experience. It was thrown on the potter's wheel, and when about halfway dry, I pulled the handle from the cup, signed the bottom, and left it alone to dry. The handle is very comfortable. It fits nicely on two of my fingers, because I have small fingers, but is also comfortable on only one. The outside of the cup has some awesome flashing from the flame in the wood kiln and the ash flying around during the firing. The soda ash from the liner glaze reacted with the kiln's atmosphere to create some cute crystals as well. The inside of the cup is brown in the bottom from wood ash in the kiln, and orange on the sides with some dark crystal growth towards the rim of the cup. The whole cup has been sanded smooth and is very comfortable to hold and drink from. It was fired to temperatures above 2350F in a wood kiln.

This little mug is non toxic, as well as food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. it measures 3 3/8" wide not including the handle, stands at 2 1/2" tall, and holds exactly 1 cup.
