This long silk fashion scarf is hand-dyed in shades of honeysuckle pink, peach, and yellow, with darker cranberry tones to give it texture like a tiger's back. It's a fabulous vintage find that probably came from India originally. It has superb drape and it's so long, it could be tied and worn in just about any configuration you can dream up!

This scarf is almost long enough to be called a shawl. In India, women of all religious persuasions wear these, loosely draped around their shoulders and sometimes over their hair. This tropical color combination will warm up the complexion and I'm sure it would look lovely paired with anything from the little black evening dress to a white oxford and dark-wash jeans!

This scarf has no labels and a hand-rolled edge. I got it second-hand and can only guess about the age of the piece. The dying looks handmade, not machine-done. I found a couple of pin holes (probably from a brooch), but they are small and hardly noticeable in all of this flowing fabric. I am selling this as-is.

I ship all scarves sealed in plastic inside the envelope to try to protect them from damage during shipping. This one ships first class domestic with delivery confirmation, or first class international. Where possible, I combine shipping on multiple-item orders.
