This scarf is made with a very old, but not often used, lace stitch. Each panel is the same as the other, with the rose vine climbing up in the same direction. As a result of the type of lace stitch used, the center two stitches will appear to be moving as they travel up the scarf. In addition, the placement of the stitches causes the rose vine to stand out nicely from the background stitches. A yarn with a good stitch definition is recommended for this scarf.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling and lace knitting)
