This lovely piece of unused gift wrap shows young lovers. Quotes on the wrap are in gold:

The world is full of beauty when the heart is full of love

Time flies, Suns rise, And Shadows Fall. Let time go by, Love is Forever Over All

Beautiful condition, but has some wear on the edges. Listing is for one sheet measuring approx 30" by 20 inches.

Gift wrap is circa classic 1970s. Please do note that this was slightly hard to capture the colors. It is a reddish/pink combo.

About Hallmark:

On January 10, 1910, a teenager from Nebraska stepped off a train in Kansas City, Mo., with little more than big dreams and two shoeboxes of picture postcards. From those inauspicious beginnings an iconic brand was born.

Joyce C. Hall, the founder of Hallmark Cards, discovered printed gift wrap almost by accident. During the Christmas season in 1917, Hall's store had sold out of the white, red and green tissue and holly pattern customers bought to wrap holiday presents. Decorative envelope lining papers from France were brought from the manufacturing plant and put on top of a showcase, for 10 cents a sheet, and those sold quickly. The next year, the sheets were offered three for 25 cents and again, they sold out. Soon, giftwrap became just as popular as the greeting cards Hallmark was already known for.

More than 100 years and billions of well-wishes later, Hallmark Cards, Inc. continues to thrive with the grandsons of that Nebraska teenager at the helm.
