Gyotaku fish reproduction print of a PACIFIC MACKEREL (called 'Saba' in Japanese) rubbing, faithful to the original Japanese style of creating memorable prints for the avid fisherman; simple and monochromatic.
Handsome and would be VERY stunning behind a glass frame on any wall of ones home or office. This saba was caught off of Yokosuka, Japan.

Makes a great gift for that special angler, nature lover or any one who loves fish and appreciates this unique Japanese art form. You may recognize the Japanese name if you're a sushi fan. Lightly pickled in rice vinegar, it's rich in flavor and iridescent in color.

This particular image (mackerel) has been reproduced, life sized, on a 12x18 professional grade, high quality photo paper.

The red stamp is my name in kanji characters and my English name next to it.
last few photos are simply framing samples to give you a better idea of what your choice print might look like!
Prints will ship first class via tubes for protection!
