This wheel-thrown tumbler features a reproduction of the Coqui (tree frog), which is perhaps the most popular Taino petroglyph (rock carving) located in Puerto Rico. Whether you use it for your morning juice or your evening 'adult beverage', it will surely put a smile on your face.

I threw this cup on my potter's wheel from white stoneware and decorated it with a frog medallion. I carved the stamp used to create the frog myself. The bottom of the cup is stamped with my studio logo (Rincon Pottery ) and my maker's mark ('M' for Miri). I glazed the cup with a lovely semi-matte cream glaze I developed, which breaks to rusty-orange where it is thinner. The foot-ring is unglazed.

I mix all my glazes from scratch, so I know exactly what is in them. The glazes I use are food safe and do not include lead or other toxic materials. This tumbler can be safely put in the microwave and dishwasher.

This listing is for 1 tumbler.
Dimensions: 3.75" tall, 3.5" wide, volume 9 fl.oz
