The Wonder Book series is a famous English series of children's books. "Famous for their 'before and after' end papers, these books were ahead of their time in their use of mostly slick paper and good quality photographs. They were also sturdily constructed (10" x 7")" (from Collecting Books and Magazines, Austrialia)

A charming information book for children learning about science. The chapters are: Astronomy, Botany, Physics & Chemistry, Geology and Zoology Machinery and Engineering, Human Physiology, and General Knowledge. Published in England.

No date but the date of the charming end paper illustration is 1934.

Several color plates and about 300 sepia toned photographs and illustrations.

256 pages with charming end papers. Bumped corners of covers but pages are in very good condition.
