Cheerful handmade trivet made of colorful vintage spools hand painted one by one and attached securely to a cutout from a vintage hard pine wooden platter. Pretty, yet practical as the space between the spools would allow the air to circulate and cool. The pastel blues, pinks and greens are perfect for Easter or year round for a cottage summer feel. It could also be used simply as a colorful stand for a basket of flowers or eggs. Each vintage spool top has radial groves from the hole in the center to form a miniature sun pattern.
