I found this machine at the Good Guys Car Show last year. It was holding up a small bicycle and I was heart broken. I had to buy it and see if it was ok. The man who sold it said he got it from an estate sale and that was all he knew. I checked the singer webpage and it states that machines with the double letter preffix AA- with numbers 188.651-817.510 were issued in 1925. This machine's serial number is AA650254.

This sewing machine runs. The bobbin winder stalls and I am not sure why it could be as simple as needing to be oiled really well and tweaked. The Knee bar is not original to this particular machine it is the correct one it was just salvaged from another machine, the manual is not original either but it does have one.

Singer Sewing Machine 128, bent wood case.
