Can't you just see this c1960s brass magazine rack in a Retro office or next to a smoking chair?

The detail of this magazine rack is very linear with the exception of the unusual curve of the center handle. This type of unexpected detail, found in so many Mid Century Modern items, is just one of the design elements that continues to fascinates me about this period.

The long pointed vertical spikes are all topped of with a cone like arrow head shape - - again, another unexpected design feature. There are 14 in all, with the 4 outer corner spike stand 3/4" higher than the other 10. From the side, the shape of the rack is 'V' like and the shorter legs flare out in an upside down 'v' share and are finished off with small ball feet.

The brass finish is in very good vintage conditions with only a few dark spots and there doesn't seem to be any rust or any other flaw with the exception of some tarnishing which can be corrected with a little elbow grease if you prefer a more polished look.

The NYTs to your fashion magazines will look great resting between the arms of this Retro Magazine Rack.

Measure approx.
Overall height: 17" (from base to the top of the center handle)
height rods: 4 corner points, 11 1/2" & 10 shorter points 11 1/8"
length: 14 3/4"
width: 9 1/2" between top points; 5" center base; 5 1/2" between base legs

If your like this one, act fast, as it will not be around to 'admire' very long.
