Description

These earrings got the name Abacus because they look like the old school frame with rows of wires which beads are slid, used for calculating. You will use bugle beads and round seed beads to form the foundation. The length I suggest in the tutorial can be changed by adding less or more bugle beads. Have fun with bead colors!

This tutorial is 7 pages and includes high quality, generous size close-up photos to guide you through each step of the pattern. The primary beads are 9mm Bugle Beads and 11/0 Seed Beads.

Some experiencing beading is helpful, however, this is a good beginner project. The approximate time to complete these earrings is an hour or less.

Supply List:
* #12 Beading Needle
* 3lb or 6lb FireLine or Wildfire thread (Nymo D may fray against the rough edge of the bugle beads)
* 9mm Bugle Beads – Toho (Nickel Plated Silver)
* 11/0 Round Seed Beads – Miyuki (Galvanized Silver)
* Ear wires
* 2 small pieces of chain links
