King George VI Coronation Crown Money Box 1937

This Coronation Crown money box was made to celebrate the 1937 coronation of
King George VI . Both components are made of brass plated zinc, shown by the white metal showing through where the plating has worn. In two parts, the inner chamber housing the coins with an outer framework forming the decorative jewelled section of the crown. There is rubbing to the bronze enamel finish, adding to it's vintage charm. Measures c.4.5" high and 3.5" diameter.
