For brown/ white sugar: Soak the terracotta sugar keeper in water for 15-20 minutes. Shake off excess and seal it in a jar/ zip lock bag with your sugar. It will keep your sugar soft and moist, and can even help to rehydrate rock hard brown sugar!. Repeat every few months for best results. It can also be used to keep dried fruit moist and fresh.

For essential oil: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the pottery, and place in the bathroom, bedroom, car, suitcase, etc. Enjoy the aromatherapy!

Each sugar keeper/ oil diffuser is handmade in my studio from brown terracotta clay, and fired to 1928° Fahrenheit. It is not glazed so that it retains maximum absorbency.
