♛The Details

A gorgeous ca. 1950s New Look dress in smoky blue chantilly lace layered over shimmery lavender acetate taffeta and enhanced with accents of sheer organdy (feels like silk). The sheer neckline of fine chantilly lace shows peekaboo hints of the charms beneath. Classic fit and flare silhouette with glorious princess seaming for a flattering fit and a hidden wide petersham belt inside the nipped waistline to reinforce its fit. The super full, sweeping, triple-layered skirt is shown here over our crinoline, not included in sale but offered separately in our store if desired. The hem of the skirt is stiffened with horsehair. Tip to toe, this dress is thoughtfully designed and constructed of fine quality.

Closes up side with metal zipper.

Designer is Frank Starr Original.

This dress is perfect for any gala event, including an unconventional bride's wedding.

All accessories (belts, jewelry, crinolines, pins, etc.) are for style inspiration only unless indicated.
