This is the smallest of the trio of these old filigrees that occasionally show up. Now if I could only find those great big ones!!

Being sold by the piece-these fabulous old gingerbread French-that is, made here in New England by the venerable House of Guyot-brass toolings circa 1930s.

These have been refered to "angel wings", "butterfly wings"..and indeed, the shape at the narrow end could lend itself to being the wing on SOMETHING! Most likely used in the stained glass lighting trade.

These are the 50mm tall ones, the smallest size, I think, of these filigrees. The smaller ones turn up once in a while, and the big ones, too. But this size is pretty rare. Wraps around a 25mm stone well, even better as a backing filigree.

The silver one is RARE-these were never plated and this plating is done very well.

You get these exact two.

A very desirable pair of old French American brass tooling filigree..
