This cute little creamer was fired in a wood burning kiln to temperatures upwards of 2350F. This piece was near the front of the kiln and collected lots of wonderful wood ash, which ran down the pot in greenish drips. The flame in the kiln left wonderful red, orange, and brown marks around the pot, and on the bottom around the pieces of wadding used to elevate the pot off the kiln shelf. I used a shino liner that also collected some ash in the bottom, which formed beautiful dark and cream colored crystals. There are even some ash drips on the interior of this piece! This piece would look great as a set with a wood fired teapot :)

This creamer is non toxic, as well as food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. It measures 3 1/4" tall, about 4" wide, and holds a little over 1 1/4 cup.
