This unique little vintage purse Is from the 70s or 80s and has been crocheted with green colors. It looks almost as if it has a tweed pattern to it and it has great texture. There are wooden beads at the bottom half of the bag and it has metallic golden stripes around it emphasizing the beads. It has velvet drawstrings with metal cone endings, and it is lined with a burgundy silk like fabric. The plastic lucite bottom adds an interesting look to the piece. It seems as if the plastic piece could even be from something else, perhaps this is an upcycled creation! The bottom does have a small crack in it which can be seen next to my thumb in the fourth picture, but as long as the bag doesn't carry extra heavy things, I don't think it will be a problem. A little dab of glue would do the trick.
The diameter of the bottom is roughly 5.5" and the height of the bag is roughly 6.5"
A great hippy style purse, this would make an excellent gift for someone who loves green! Maybe it could even be a fancy way of wrapping a gift! Or it would be an awesome Christmas purse to show off at those office Christmas parties! A great conversation piece no matter what!
