Made in Japan during the 1950s, this chromium plated Nash features a a vivid red and black Modernist enamel design on the front face and solid black enamel finish on the back. Though a bit different mechanically, this Nash is a fully automatic lighter similar to Ronson's Essex and Capri lighters from this era. Depress the plunger to strike and light the wick, release to extinguish the flame. Flint and fluid are both added from the base. This lighter is in great looking condition and works well. It will be shipped with a flint and without fluid. (If you plan to only display this lighter, please remove the flint so it does not deteriorate and become impacted over time.)

I've fully disassembled and cleaned its firing mechanism, trimmed and tested it original wick, and removed soot/char from the snuff to ensure this eye-catching lighter is in reliable working order for daily use. The enamel design is in excellent condition and there are only minor flaws in the chrome plating. I've provided high quality photos to offer the best preview of this lighter's condition. I think it actually looks nicer in person than my photos show. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.
