A theatric sky takes the stage:

"O for a Muse of fire, that would ascend
The brightest heaven of invention,
A kingdom for a stage, princes to act
And monarchs to behold the swelling scene!"*

Painted on an archival 5 x 7 (12.7 x 17.78 cm) artist's hardboard (Ampersand Museum Series Gessobord) with Holbein and Winsor & Newton oil colors, finished with an isolation layer of Gamblin Galkyd, signed and dated (lower right), and varnished.

Add $100 and receive your painting ready to hang in a hand-made, solid wood, plein air frame with hand-applied gold metal leaf.
