This pattern is written in English only.

Skill level required - beginner/intermediate - 16” (40cm length) circular needles are used (6.5mm). This is the “Bailey’s Super Slouchy Beanie Pattern”. DPNs (double pointed needles) used for decrease rounds if you need (I don't use them myself for decreasing this beanie).

I have used a variety of wool thicknesses and pattern easily adapted to increase or decrease and instructions provided. This pattern is written in sizing for adults. Main photo shows Malabrigo Rios used. One skein of Rios is plenty to knit an 11” slouchy.

The yarn recommended is Malabrigo Rios and is classified as Worsted/Medium. I have also recommended Patons Sierra (8ply) and you can get 3 beanies from the one ball which is 375m (150g)

Please note - if you use a thicker yarn the rim is likely to roll up more than in the image shown.
