GOLD VERMEIL
Gold Vermeil is a high-quality gold plating with a thick layer of gold coated on a solid sterling silver base. The thickness of gold vermeil is 2.5 microns, which is significantly thicker than that of flash-plated jewelry, which is only .03 microns. Avoid wearing gold vermeil jewelry in water and keep it away from chemicals. As per world metal experts all types of gold plating, regardless of large claims about waterproofing, may fade with regular wear over time. It is a natural sign of aging and indicates how much the item has been loved and worn. The rate of fading can significantly vary based on individual factors, such as body chemistry, pH levels, and exposure to certain chemicals like chlorine, alcohol in nail polish remover, hand sanitizers, cleansers, perfumes etc. Gold Vermeil that is 2.5 microns thick can last anywhere from 2 months to 20 years with proper care. If you are worried about fading, we recommend opting for sterling silver or solid gold jewelry instead. Please note that worn items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

OUR PACKAGING
All of our jewelry pieces are packaged carefully in custom-designed boxes based on the type of the piece. For instance, we have a single ring box, multiple ring box that can hold up to six rings, a multipurpose box for earrings, necklaces and other pieces. After packaging the jewelry, we place each box in a larger box or padded envelope, along with care instructions and a receipt that doesn't show the prices.
