This brooch is fabulous! It is enormous! But, it is also perfect for my Roman palla. I got so very many compliments on it, when I wore with complete Roman ensemble. I did find it necessary to smooth the surface of the pin a little, as I didn't want it to snag, or tear the delicate wool gauze. It slid right through many layers, very easily. If I have any criticism, it is a slight misalignment of the slot the pin sits in. It is tilted the wrong direction, so that pin has a tendency to come unhooked. I am going to try to remedy this. But otherwise the image is great, and it has real heft to it, and looks and feels as if it might well be an ancient artifact from Rome. I like it very much. Communication was great, and delivery was really quicker than I expected! Very pleased.
It is the second purchase I make at Roberto's, always a jewelry item. Bracelet finished, detailed, of eminent workmanship. A perfect reproduction! Very beautiful! Thanks also for the welcome gift (a personalized pen).
Very nice bracelet. The particular inserts are made well. Personally, I would have chosen a gold rhodium silver carabiner.
The proprietor /artist, Roberto, made life easy for me, though I am about 8,000 miles distant from his place of work. I asked a few questions prior to making a purchase. He responded within hours. Then I had a question after receiving the item (an Etruscan-style ceramic dish), and he responded equally fast and fully. The ceramic dish itself is very much a top-of the line piece of artwork. It’s a little over 12 inches diameter, but it looks even larger because it has a strong, distinctive presence. It is beautiful. I really like it. It is a good facsimile of items I saw in art class. Also, it came much faster (about 6 days after I ordered) than I would have expected and was packed really well. I believe Roberto must love his work. So do I.
