Was 160!
I have here a lovely pair of Art Deco Fish Bookends titled "Two Fish". They were made by Hubley around 1925 and are made of cast iron.

The good stuff is they are quite rare and have a lovely patina.
They are marked 448-1 and 448-2 , are listed as a 5 on Kuritzky's rarity scale in the Kuritzky Encyclopedia of Bookends and can be found on page 247, plate 1692 should you have a chance to see that .

The better stuff is they belonged to my mother, a great reader, bibliophile and collector of bookends. I am hoping someone will be charmed and will enjoy having them, using them and will admire them and so they are listed here at a price less than half of what I have seen them sell for. They need a new home.

They measure 5 1/8" tall x 4 7/8" wide and are fairly heavy at almost 5 lbs.

This handsome pair will come to you via the USPS, with tracking and insurance and will be well packaged for the trip. Thanks for stopping by to have a look.
