An amazing outfit. I will describe each piece separately:

SKIRT:

30" waist
46" hips
41" front length
43" back length

Skirt is beautifully pleated toward the bottom and has GREAT button detail. If you can describe Victorian, Gibson Girl as "tailored," this is a tailored skirt.

Condition of the skirt is good. There are several pin holes and a slit where one of the pleats folds. Not seen when wearing, especially with a long black slip. I've shown this on a teeny, tiny, size 2/4 model so it is quite large on her. We pinned the skirt on her.

FANCY UNDER BLOUSE:

36" BUST plus! These blouses always have a bit of room thanks to the gathering.

29" waist

19" underarm to end of cuff
14" shoulder seam to shoulder seam
14 3/4" back neck seam to waistbank
18" to end of "tuck in" part

EXCELLENT CONDITION! This blouse has sewn pleating, leg-o-mutton sleeves, "yo-yo" circles attached with crochet. Black and white organdy like trim around cuffs. THIS NEEDS TO BE RESEWN IN ONE AREA...RE-ATTACHED SO TO SPEAK. High collar includes a strip of the yo-yo's. Hook and eyes, of course, close up this puppy.

OVER-BLOUSE, JACKET LIKE:

40 Bust
30" waist
Shoulder to shoulder seam 14 3/4
Underarm to cuff 20"
15 1/2" back neck seam to waistband area
19 1/2" back neck seam to end of "tuck-in" piece

EXCELLENT CONDITION! This over-blouse or jacket like blouse, closes in the front with hooks and eyes. It has sewn down pleating with pretty, floral lace trim in front and around leg-o-mutton sleeves. The collar is only a thin band which leaves me to believe this was meant to wear over a high collared blouse. Gibson Girl Style.

I have wiped this dress down and have aired it out. It had mildew which the wiping took care of most. The airing took care of most of the odor. I'm sure more could be done and I will let the new owner, who will probably know more about how to take care of this, do whatever else is necessary. I imagine the blouses could be carefully laundered as they are silk and in really good condition. The skirt could probably be carefully washed to. I considered this whole outfit wearable!
