Newgrange Triple Spiral Celtic Symbol Engraved Stone
Also know as a Triskele and Triskelion.
The triple spiral or triskele is a Celtic and pre-Celtic symbol found on a number of Irish Megalithic and Neolithic sites, most notably inside the Newgrange passage tomb, on the entrance stone, and on some of the curbstones surrounding the mound.
The Triple Spiral is a sign of female power and represents the three goddesses. It represents the three powers of maiden, mother and crone.
The Stone is approx. 3.5".
Light grey ocean stone.
The Triskele is engraved by being sandblasted / sand carved into the stone.
