This was my first drop cloth sampler. It was fun! I learned a few new stitches and was able to keep myself occupied during the hot parts of the summer days. I chose to stitch it to a flour type cloth because I didn’t think the original cloth was very substantial. I did like the whimsical pattern though!
I am anxious to get into this project. It looks wonderful. I am going to follow the tutorial on the computer and do some embroidery everyday. My mother taught me how to embroider when I was a young girl, so it brings back memories. The quality is wonderful, came as described and expectations were met.
This is my FIRST sampler, and I am so excited to do one stitch every day on Creative Bug with Rebecca to complete it! I love to start new hobbies, and this year, this is the one I'm working on: embroidery!
I haven’t started working on this yet but I know I will love it. I always enjoyed making cross stitch samplers. I have wanted to learn embroidery stitches for a while now, but needed a little “help”. I plan to check out the online classes that go along with this sampler.
