These dainty faceted amethyst briolette necklaces or pendants are the perfect larger drop of light spring green! The jump ring holding the bead is soldered, NOT wire wrapped. This makes these pieces elegantly minimal, strong and unlikely to snag. I select gems that are that are well cut and able to withstand wear.

The faceted teardrop briolettes are 7.5 - 8.5 mm "fat" pear or "heart" shapes. They have 6 mm soldered jump rings. The pendants have 5 mm soldered sterling jump ring bails and the average size per pendant is 5/8" (16 mm) x 5/16" (7.5 mm). The jump ring bails can accommodate up to a 3 mm thick chain. The necklaces are made with sterling silver 1.5 mm cable chain from 15'' - 20'' lengths and all joining points are soldered. Necklaces are measured from end to end. Necklaces are available in other lengths; convo for a quote.

Peridot is the gem variety of the mineral olivine, a member of the silicates group. Peridot owes its characteristic green color to iron. My peridot is genuine, untreated and from Brazil. Peridot is the traditional birthstone for August.

These are my favorite earrings, I love the colors and they are noticeable and delicate at the same time. I'm going to have to order a new pair because sadly I lost one after only wearing them 3 times. Use the rubber stoppers that comes with them
