Just had to rescue these pieces, they deserved another chance. This is the decorative 1/2 of a base metal jewelry clasp, with the tongue piece missing.

It's about 15/16th of an inch square and the detail is beautiful. There are 3 loops one side that you can hang something from or attach to and a hanging loop on each corner. This might make a wonderful embellishment for a hat or a purse.

They are hollow, so not too heavy, and the opening where the other tongue would go is slightly smushed.

I have 2 of these in bright gold. Based on the others things I found with these they appear to be from the 1960s and 1970s.

You will receive 1 piece in this listing.
