How’s this for an unusual, quirky yet useful gift! This upcycled, flat genuine green glass Charles Tanqueray London Gin bottle is ideal for serving cheese, antipasto, Sushi, or for cutting lemons for G & Ts and Pimms. Clearly visible on the top side is "Charles Tanqueray & Co" and the Pineapple logo is just visible where the base has folded over. I have added polyurethane bumpers on the underside to ensure it doesn't scratch surfaces.
The flat bottle you receive may not be the exact one in the photo, but will be the same design, size, shape and condition.
It also makes a great spoon rest while cooking.
This real 1 litre Tanqueray London Gin and is approx. 26.5 cm (10 1/2 in) long, and 14 cm (5 1/2 in) wide at its widest point. It weighs 635 g (1 lb 6.3 oz).
Just such a cool gift for someone who loves their Tanqueray London Gin and G & Ts.
The distinctive roundel on the bottle neck is still clearly visible on the underneath side. The general appearance of the bottle is transparent and glossy.
The bottle has been flattened and properly annealed in my kiln. It is great example of the repurposing of an item that would otherwise by thrown away.
