The Poet’s Talisman Series – Come Away O Human Child – WB Yeats – Charm Necklace

Where dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake,
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water rats;
There we've hid our faery vats,
Full of berrys
And of reddest stolen cherries.

Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand.
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.

- From ‘The Stolen Child’ by William Butler Yeats

The Poet’s Talisman series is my lovesong to writers everywhere. A long, luscious necklace of asymmetrical trinkets and whatsits to inspire you, each featuring lines from some of my favorite poets. Those lines come in the form of handmade ceramic leaf pendants crafted by Lynae Zebest of Panopoly (http://panopoly.etsy.com).

This ‘Come Away O Human Child” necklace measures 32” long with a 3 ½” pendant drop. Among its goodies are artisan glass by Yoshibeads, a long aqua blue chalcedony droplet, brass navettes, and blue agate rounds, Swarovski crystal, green freshwater pearls, a green chalcedony droplet, and kambaba jasper. The ceramic bead reads “Come Away O Human Child.”

All metals are antique brass with copper accents.
