This blue and lime green mug features 2 graphic ships sailing the sea.

This coffee mug/ tea cup was hand thrown on the pottery wheel out of white stoneware. The bottom is cut in a wave pattern, and my brand "Cephalopod Ink" has been stamped under the handle in black stain. Glazed in glazes that I make myself, and then fired to cone 6.

The image is from a public domain scientific drawing from the 1800's that I turned it into a graphic image. Next I printed it as an iron-oxide decal and fire it onto the pot causing the oxide to transfer/melt into the glaze (staining it a rust color). The image is forever part of the glaze and will NOT rub off. It has been fired a total of 3 times!

Approximately 4 inches high and 4 inches wide not including the handle.
Holds about 17 fl oz.

Food safe.
Microwave and Dishwasher safe.
